National Stadium

National Stadium known as Bird's Nest is situated in Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang District, the National Stadium was the main stadium of the 29th Olympiad in 2008. hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, and The Olympic events of track and field, football, gavelock, weight throw and discus were held here .

After the Olympics, the stadium has been become an architectural landmark and Olympic legacy and turned into a shopping and entertainment complex .now the National stadium is the most important public space in Beijing.

The stadium hosted the 2009 Race of Champions.In July 2010, the stadium hosted a friendly football match between Premier League team Birmingham City and Chinese side Beijing Guoan as a part of Birmingham's pre-season trip to China.the stadium appears to be quite profitable, drawing some 20,000 to 30,000 people from all over the world a day at the price of a 50 yuan admission
