Jingshan Park

Jingshan Park is Located to the east of Beihai Park and north of the Imperial Palace, During the Yuan , Ming and Qing dynasties, Jingshan Park served as an imperial garden when numerous fruit trees were planted as well as many palaces and pavilions built for the emperor to make sacrifices to his ancestors.


In 1928, it was opened to the public. Later, after 1949, the park was fully rebuilt, with the paths paved and most of the buildings renovated. Now, the present Jingshan is covered with fruit trees, pines and cypress trees.in the morning ,local people spend their leisure time ,singing and dancing , and do some morning exercise here . The mid summit of Jingshan is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, the visitor is able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

Entrance ticket : RMB 2 from Nov. 1th to the next Mar. 31th

RMB 5 from Apr. 1th to Oct. 31th

Opening Hours : 6:30 am to 19:00 pm
